Apocalypse 6x6 by SoFLo Jeeps, Under 20k Miles, 38x15.5 Tires, Matte OD Green, Custom Interior, Texas Truck
The Jeep Gladiator arrived in 2019 as Jeep's first pickup since the Comanche got the axe in 1992, and some people apparently looked at it and thought: not enough axles. Enter the aftermarket 6x6 conversion scene, where shops like SoFLo Jeeps take a perfectly functional truck and add a third axle because the only thing better than four-wheel drive is six-wheel drive, physics be damned.
This particular example wears a flat olive drab finish that photographs somewhere between military surplus and high-end tactical cosplay. The conversion includes that aggressive Fab Fours-style front end with the angry hood vents and honeycomb grille, plus a roof-mounted light bar and red recovery shackles that pop against all that green. Those 38x15.5 tires across all six wheels mean you're buying rubber in bulk forever. At under 20,000 miles, the truck shows well—no visible trail damage in the photos, and the tires still have decent tread. The matte finish appears consistent and unscratched, which is notable given how easily these coatings show wear.
Here's the thing about 6x6 conversions: they're built for exactly one purpose, which is being seen. The extra axle adds complexity, weight, and a turning radius that makes parking lots feel like an Austin Powers meme. But if you want a truck that stops traffic at Buc-ee's and can theoretically ford a small river on the way to brunch, this is your machine. Just budget for the therapy you'll need after your first fuel bill.
